Bad luck bar

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As misfortune bar refers to trees branches that have been unduly burdened by its own load, so that occur on them longitudinal cracks. Such a branch will break in the near future. For reasons of traffic safety , countermeasures must be taken immediately if such a damaged branch is across a path or the like. The cause of the crack are tensile stresses across the grain of the wood , twisted growth promotes the appearance of this damage pattern.
