Uni DSL

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Uni-DSL (Unidirectional DSL, Universal DSL, UDSL) is a DSL chipset developed by Texas Instruments (TI) for telecommunications providers and not a standard. Different connection options can be offered with one technology, which then support the different standards ( ADSL , ADSL2 , ADSL2 + , VDSL1 and VDSL2 ). With UDSL, TI is also making a large one for downloading from different frequency bands for upload / download from VDSL2, thus increasing the download to 200 Mbit / s, but reducing the upload. Other VDSL2 technology manufacturers are going a similar way. However, this does not correspond to any new DSL standard.
