Unified Threat Management

Unified Threat Management (English for unified management risks ; short UTM ) is a term of Charles Kolodgy from International Data Corporation (IDC) in 2004. In network -Sicherheitssystemen a distinction between Specialized Security Appliance (SSA), the special for a task and Unified Threat Management Appliances (UTMA), which combine different security tasks on one platform.
