The Union des Industries Ferroviaires Européennes (UNIFE) is the association of the European railway industry. Its seat is in Brussels.

It has represented the leading companies in the rail supply industry in Europe since 1992 and represents the interests of more than 81 large and medium-sized companies in the rail industry that are active in the design, manufacture, maintenance and refurbishment of rail transport systems, subsystems and accessories. The member companies have a market share of 80% in Europe and more than 50% worldwide. Membership also includes associated associations, mainly the national railway industry associations from the European member states, which represent over 1,000 other railway companies.

The association is headed by General Manager Philippe Citroën and chaired by Henri Poupart-Lafarge, CEO of Alstom Transport .

Seat

The association has had a permanent office in Brussels , the capital of Belgium , since 1992 . From there she maintains close contacts with European and international institutions and has become an important partner in connection with developments in transport technology.
