United States Golf Association

The United States Golf Association (USGA) was founded on December 22nd, 1894 and has been the regulating organization of golf in the USA and Mexico ever since .

The USGA works, together with The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews , permanently on the golf rules, organizes 13 national tournaments annually, controls golf courses and supports initiatives and programs related to golf in the USA.
