United States Special Operations Command - Joint Capabilities

United States Special Operations Command - Joint Capabilities short USSOC-JC or SOC-JC was a sub-composite command of USSOCOM . Its task is to train special and regular units, especially commanders and staff members, so that they can be deployed together in the field.

The unit was originally founded as the United States Special Operations Command Atlantic , USSOCLANT , SOCLANT , USSOCACOM or SOCACOM for short and was under the US Atlantic Command . From 1999, it was in United States Special Operations Command - Joint Forces Command shortly USSOCJFCOM or SOCJFCOM renamed and the US Joint Forces Command assumed. On April 29, 2011, when the US Joint Forces Command was dissolved, the unit was renamed what is now the United States Special Operations Command - Joint Capabilities and has since been directly subordinate to the USSOCOM.

The unit was dissolved with the fiscal year 2013 and all positions were withdrawn.
