The United States Army Forces Command ( FORSCOM ; German Armed Forces Command ) is one of three army commands and a major command of the US Army . It is responsible for the training, mobilization, deployment, support, transformation, and reorganization of the conventional forces of the US Army.

It has its headquarters in Fort McPherson , Georgia . The FORSCOM represents a special feature within the high command of the US Army, because on the one hand it functions as an army command for the US Army itself, and on the other hand it forms the army component of the US Joint Forces Command , i.e. it also operates as a functional US Army component command .

The US Army North , the land component of the US Northern Command regional command , also reports to the commander of FORSCOM .

It is planned from 2019 the United States Army Forces Command together with the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), the United States Army Materiel Command (AMC) and the United States Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) to United States Unite Army Futures Command (AFC).
