The United States Army Special Operations Command ( USASOC or ASOC for short ) is the command command for the special forces of the US Army : US Army SOF (ARSOF). The command is subordinate to the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and was set up on December 1, 1989. It is located in Fort Bragg ( North Carolina ).

USASOC coordinates all operations of the Army special forces with the US Special Operations Command.

With around 33,805 personnel (as of 2020), USASOC is one of the largest main commandos in the US Army. Six other brigades and regiments are subordinate to him .

1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) (USASFC), also known as Green Berets .
- United States 4th Psychological Operations Group (Airborne) (4th PSYOP Gp) responsible for public relations and psychological warfare .
- United States 8th Psychological Operations Group (Airborne) (8th PSYOP Gp) responsible for public relations and psychological warfare .
- United States 95th Civil Affairs Brigade (Airborne) (95th CA Bde), responsible for human resources and administrative matters.
- 528th Sustainment Brigade (Special Operations) (Airborne) (SBSO (A)), founded on December 2, 2005 (previously Special Operations Support Command) It is responsible for logistics and medical supplies.

United States Army Special Operations Aviation Command
- United States 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) (160th SOAR), known as "Night Stalkers", ensures the air transport of the special operations units.
- United States Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS), the school for Army special forces.
- United States Army Rangers (75th RGR RGT), also known as the "75th Ranger Regiment".
The "1st Special Forces Operational Detachment Delta", the Delta Force, is a specialty . Although a unit of the US Army, it is not managed by USASOC. It reports directly to the US Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).
