Universally Administered Address
A Universally Administered Address (UAA) is a fixed ("burned-in") MAC address specified by the manufacturer for each network card (that is, universally valid ) .
The U / L bit (which indicates whether it is a Universally Administered Address or a Locally Administered Address ) is set to 0.
A Universally Administered Address is in the form canonical for Ethernet and / or the form MSB for Token Ring .
The counterpart of the Universally Administered Address is the Locally Administered Address .
