The University of Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) (English University Malaysia Perlis, mal. Universiti Malaysia Perlis) in Arau in the state of Perlis is a state university in Malaysia founded in 2001 . It is a university with a focus on teaching and research in the field of electronics .
history
In 2001 the "University College" Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan Utara Malaysia, engl. Northern Malaysia University College of Engineering (KUKUM) established as a state technical university . The course started in 2002 with 116 engineering students. In October 2007, the college was renamed University of Malaysia Perlis and was given university status.

The full-time management is headed by the Vice-Chancellor . This is supervised by a board of directors . The university is not divided into faculties , but into schools:
