Southwest China Political Science and Law University
The University of Political Science and Law of Southwest China ( Chinese 西南 政法 大学 , Pinyin Xinan Zhengfa Daxue , English Southwest University of Political Science and Law , abbr. SWUPL) is a Chinese university in Chongqing . It was founded in 1953 and was originally called "College of Political Science and Law" ( Chinese 西南 政法 学院 , Pinyin Xinan zhengfa xueyuan , English Southwest College of Political Science and Law ). It is one of the first universities of political science and law after the establishment of the People's Republic of China .
