The Universitäts-Reitschule München is a riding school and gastronomy at Königinstrasse 43, directly at the English Garden in Munich.

The building is a simple, neoclassical , mansion-like wing building with a balustrade delimiting the forecourt and is a current monument . It was built in 1927 by Eugen Hönig and Carl Söldner . In September 1927, the riding school was awarded the title “University Riding School Munich” by the Ludwig Maximilians University , which subsequently organized horse shows here on a regular basis. From the 1950s at the latest, gastronomy was considered the “largest establishment in Schwabing” and developed into a meeting place for celebrities in the early 1970s.

In addition to the boxes for school horses, the facility includes around 30 other boxes for the accommodation of private horses, 19 outdoor paddocks , a riding hall (20 × 40 meters) and an outdoor riding arena of the same size and a smaller outdoor riding arena, as well as an outdoor lane and a washing box with solarium.
