The Koeniginstrasse is a street in Munich . It runs west of the English Garden from Von-der-Tann-Straße in the Maxvorstadt district to the north and to Maria-Josepha-Straße and Mandlstraße in the Alt-Schwabing ensemble .

The American Consulate General is at Koeniginstrasse 5 . Due to the safety precautions, it is no longer possible for road vehicles to enter the Königinstraße from Von-der-Tann-Straße.

The private zoological garden Benedikt was located on the property at today's house number 28, at that time still Wiesenstrasse, from 1862 on . The homeopathic hospital of Joseph Buchner, homeopathic family doctor at the court of King Max II of Bavaria and honorary professor at the LMU , was located in what was then Wiesenstrasse 6 (today also Königinstrasse) for the purpose of "free treatment of poor servants, family members and workers".

Further north is the main campus of the veterinary faculty (but with address Veterinärstraße 13). Already in Schwabing , at number 34, which is University Riding School Munich . Other well-known financial service providers in the street are the LfA Förderbank Bayern and the Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft (BayBG). The corps house of the Corps Palatia Munich is located at Koeniginstrasse 49 .

The Nano-Institut Munich (LMU) is also located on Königinstraße, the building emerged from a realization competition with urban and landscape planning ideas.
