The University of Wisconsin-Stout ( UW-Stout ) is a " polytechnic " university of the University of Wisconsin Systems . The college was founded in 1891 and named after its founder, James Huff Stout. It has around 9,600 students (2017). UW-Stout is located in the small town of Menomonie in the northwest of the US state Wisconsin and on the eastern edge of the metropolitan area of ​​Minneapolis-Saint Paul .

UW – Stout offers 49 undergraduate programs and 26 graduate programs in the major, including a doctoral program.

International

UW-Stout is closely connected to the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences through the university partnerships between the State of Hesse and the State of Wisconsin .
