Nicholas Robert "Nick" Rogers (born March 4, 1977 in Southampton ) is a former British sailor .
successes
Nick Rogers took three times with Joe Glanfield at the Olympic Games in the 470 dinghy part. At the 2000 , they just missed a medal win in Sydney as fourth, before winning the silver medal four years later in Athens . With 74 points, they were only three points behind the Olympic champions from the United States, Kevin Burnham and Paul Foerster . At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 , the two Australians Nathan Wilmot and Malcolm Page were too strong for the rest of the competition, while Rogers and Glanfield again took second place with 75 points this time in front of the French and Dutch boats, who each scored 78 points. At world championships he won silver with Glanfield in Koper in 2001 and in San Francisco in 2005 and bronze in Zadar in 2004 . In 2004 and 2005 the two also became European champions.
