Nathan James Wilmot (born December 13, 1979 in Sydney ) is a former Australian sailor .
successes
Nathan Wilmot took twice with Malcolm Page at Olympic Games in the 470 dinghy part. In 2004 , they did not get past twelfth place in Athens . The 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing were very successful for both of them : They went into the final medal race as first place , which they also finished in first place. This made them Olympic champions ahead of the British and French boats. At world championships he won a total of six medals with Malcolm Page in the 470 dinghy, including three gold medals. In 2004 in Zadar , 2005 in San Francisco and 2007 in Cascais they became world champions. In addition, they won two silver and one bronze medals.
His father Jamie and his uncle Bob were also both sailors, the former also at the Olympic Games.
