Francisco "Kiko" Sánchez Luna (born September 19, 1965 in Alicante ) is a former Spanish sailor .
successes
Francisco Sánchez took part in the Olympic Games three times in the 470 dinghy . With Fernando León he missed in 1988 in Seoul in fourth just under to win a medal. At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 and in Atlanta in 1996 he took part with Jordi Calafat . In 1992 they took first place in front of Kevin Burnham and Morgan Reeser and Tõnu and Toomas Tõniste and became Olympic champions with a total of 50 points . Four years later they finished the regatta in ninth place. At world championships , Sánchez and Calafat won the silver medal in 1989 and 1990, before they won the title in Cádiz in 1992 and in Crozon in 1993 .
