Crozon ( Breton Kraozon ) is a French commune and the main town on the Crozon Peninsula in the Finistère department in the north-west of Brittany .
geography
The municipality of Crozon on the Crozon Peninsula with its area of 80.37 km² and 7477 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) is growing together with the port and seaside resort of Morgat (Br. Morgad ) with its rock grottos that are only accessible from the sea .
Until 1967 there was also a railway connection ( Réseau Breton ) on the Crozon peninsula with the route Châteaulin –Crozon– Camaret-sur-Mer .

The climate of the peninsula - located between Brest and Douarnenez - is still noticeably influenced by the Gulf Stream .
