Camaret-sur-Mer harbor

Camaret-sur-Mer ( Breton Kameled ) is a French commune and a fishing port in the very west of Brittany in the Finistère department with 2543 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). The municipality is located on the Crozon peninsula in the immediate vicinity of the Atlantic coast in the Armorique Regional Nature Park ( French Parc naturel régional d'Armorique ).

Brest is 15 kilometers northwest, Quimper 47 kilometers southeast and Paris about 510 kilometers east. At Le Faou and Châteaulin , the next exits are on the E 60 expressway ( Nantes- Brest) and u. a. The nearest train stations are in Châteaulin, Quimper and Brest. There is a regional airport near Brest .
