Rows of stones from Lagatjar
Crozon Peninsula

The stone rows of Lagatjar ( French Alignements de Lagat-Jar ) are located on the Crozon peninsula in the Finistère department , in Brittany in France near Camaret-sur-Mer . They are said to have originally consisted of up to 400 stones, so that the total length of the main structure previously reached 600 meters. Many of the overturned stones made of white quartzite were erected again in 1928, so that the rows now consist of 72 menhirs.

The longest row consists of 42 stones and is around 200 meters long today. A row of 13 blocks begins at its northeast end, and the third row of 17 large menhirs lies in the southwest . This shows that there were rows of stones here that correspond in size to those of Carnac .
