Lothey ( Breton Lotei ) is a French municipality with 459 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Finistere region . The municipality belongs to the canton of Briec (until 2015 canton of Pleyben ).

location

The municipality is located in the west of Brittany on the edge of the Regional Natural Park Armorique ( French Parc naturel régional d'Armorique ), by the river Aulne .

Quimper is 21 kilometers south, Brest 40 kilometers northwest and Paris about 450 kilometers east (as the crow flies ).

At Châteaulin , the next exit is on the expressway E 60 (Brest – Nantes ) and at Landivisiau and Morlaix on the E 50 (Brest – Rennes ). In the aforementioned places there are also the nearest regional train stations on the mostly parallel railway lines.

Brest train station is the terminus of the TGV Atlantique to Paris.

The nearest regional airports are the Aéroport de Brest Bretagne near Brest and the Aéroport de Lorient Bretagne Sud near Lorient .
