The place is in the east of the Regional Nature Park Armorique ( French Parc naturel régional d'Armorique ), in a hilly and wooded, but only very sparsely populated area.

Morlaix is 23 kilometers northwest, Brest 65 kilometers west, Rennes 150 kilometers east-southeast and Paris about 440 kilometers east.
