Saint-Thois ( Santoz in Breton ) is a French commune in western Brittany in the Finistère department with 716 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). The municipality belongs to the canton of Briec (canton of Châteauneuf-du-Faou until 2015 ).

The place is located around 28 kilometers east of the Atlantic coast on the banks of the Aulne River .

Quimper is 25 kilometers southwest, the city and port of Brest 50 kilometers northwest and Paris around 480 kilometers east (as the crow flies ).
