Ploéven ( Breton Ploeven ) is a French commune in the Finistère department with 518 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). It belongs to the arrondissement of Châteaulin and the canton of Crozon .

location

The municipality is located in the west of Brittany on the Atlantic coast ( Bay of Douarnenez ), with the center being a good three kilometers from the coast. It is located in the Cornouaille region ten kilometers southwest of Châteaulin , 12 kilometers northeast of Douarnenez , 20 kilometers north-northwest of Quimper and a good 30 kilometers southeast of Brest (figures slightly rounded as the crow flies ).
