Lannédern ( Breton Lannedern ) is a French commune in the Finistère department with 293 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). The municipality belongs to the canton of Briec (until 2015 canton of Pleyben ).

The place is located in the west of Brittany on the edge of the Regional Natural Park Armorique ( French Parc naturel régional d'Armorique ). Quimper is 37 kilometers south, Brest 44 kilometers northwest and Paris about 450 kilometers east (as the crow flies ).

At Le Faou and Châteaulin , the next exits are on the expressway E 60 (Brest– Nantes ) and at Landivisiau and Morlaix on the E 50 (Brest – Rennes ). In the aforementioned places there are also the nearest regional train stations on the mostly parallel railway lines.
Brest train station is the terminus of the TGV Atlantique to Paris.
