Mairie Lanvéoc

Lanvéoc ( Lañveog in Breton ) is a French commune in western Brittany in the Finistère department with 2095 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). The municipality is located in the north of the Crozon peninsula on the Atlantic coast in the Armorique Regional Nature Park ( French Parc naturel régional d'Armorique ). The French Naval School (French: École Navale ) is based in Lanvéoc .

location

Lanvéoc is located about eleven kilometers south of Brest on the opposite bank of the Rade de Brest and about 40 kilometers northwest of Quimper .

At Le Faou and Châteaulin , the next exits are on the expressway E 60 ( Nantes- Brest) and the nearest train stations are in Châteaulin, Quimper and Brest, among others. Brest is also the nearest airport . The Lanvéoc-Poulmic military airfield is on the municipality's territory.
