Berrien ( Breton Berrien ) is a French commune in the Finistère department in Brittany with 919 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).

The place is located in the Armorique Regional Nature Park at the foothills of the Monts d'Arrée ridge in a hilly and wooded area. Morlaix is 20 kilometers north, Brest 52 km west, Rennes 155 km east-southeast and Paris about 450 km east.
The approximately 6.0 m high menhir of Kerampeulven stands south of Berrien.

traffic
Berrien is remote from the main traffic routes. At Morlaix and Landivisiau , the next exits are on the expressway E 50 ( Rennes - Brest ) and regional train stations on the parallel railway line.
