Attractions

The village

The Tour Sarrasine ("Saracen Tower"), built in the 13th century, was possibly a stately residence or the seat of the local council. The Maison Beque , a private estate built in 1750 for a Ferme générale of the Barony Sérignan , now serves as a cultural center. The Porte de l'Horloge is a gate of the former city wall, which was crowned by a wrought-iron bell tower in the 18th century .

Chapel of St Andéol

The 12th century chapel, built on the remains of an early Romanesque building and located outside the walls, was the seat of the parish before it was entrusted to the White Penitents . The collapse of the central part in the 15th century led to a reconstruction and the construction of an outside staircase to get to a guard post on the roof.

Sports

Camaret is used several times as a venue for European competitions of motoball . The first team of the Moto-Ball Club Camaret was three times European and 18 times French champions.
