Blauvac is a French municipality with 511 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Vaucluse department in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur .

There is a Trappist convent ( Abbaye Notre-Dame de Bon-Secours ) on the road to Méthamis near the village .

economy

On the road to Mazan is one of the largest gypsum deposits in the country. The Lafarge company there for the mining and processing of gypsum is one of the largest employers in the region.

The local winegrowers belong to the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée Côtes du Ventoux .
