The canton of Pernes-les-Fontaines is a French administrative unit of the department Vaucluse in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . Its main town is Pernes-les-Fontaines and in 2015 it was expanded from 6 to 21 municipalities as part of a nationwide restructuring of the cantons .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the cantons in 2015, the canton of Pernes-les-Fontaines consisted of the following six municipalities: La Roque-sur-Pernes , Le Beaucet , Pernes-les-Fontaines , Saint-Didier , Velleron and Venasque . Its layout corresponded to an area of 126.02 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 8418.
