Méthamis is a commune of 436 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Vaucluse department in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur .
geography
The historic center of Méthamis is located on a small rocky mountain above the Nesque at the exit of the Gorges de la Nesque from the Monts de Vaucluse south of Mont Ventoux . The D 5 road from Malemort-du-Comtat to the Sault plateau runs through the village.
