The canton L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a French administrative unit of the Vaucluse department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . Its main town is L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and in 2015 it was reduced from nine to five municipalities as part of a nationwide restructuring of the cantons .

Until the state-wide reorganization of the cantons in 2015, the canton L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue consisted of the following nine municipalities: Cabrières-d'Avignon , Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne , Fontaine-de-Vaucluse , L'Isle-sur-la- Sorgue , Le Thor , Jonquerettes , Lagnes , Saint-Saturnin-lès-Avignon and Saumane-de-Vaucluse . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​159.53 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 8413.
