The canton of Bollène is a French administrative unit in the Arrondissement Carpentras , in the Vaucluse department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . The main town is Bollène and was expanded from seven to nine municipalities in 2015 as part of a nationwide reorganization of the cantons .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the cantons in 2015, the canton of Bollène consisted of the following seven municipalities: Bollène , Lagarde-Paréol , Lamotte-du-Rhône , Lapalud , Mondragon , Mornas and Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​175.62 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 8406.
