Eduardo Henrique Gomes Penido (born January 23, 1960 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a former Brazilian sailor .

Eduardo Penido took part in the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow in the 470 dinghy . Together with Marcos Soares he took first place in front of Jörn Borowski and Egbert Swensson as well as Jouko Lindgren and Georg Tallberg . They became Olympic champions with a total of 36.4 points .
