Gameplay

People who claim to be unbeatable in a particular discipline, join Unbeatable against by the moderators Sonja Zietlow and Marco Schreyl worldwide looking for opponents. The audience in the studio votes on whether the candidate Zietlow or Schreyl is looking for can compete against the challenger, which also creates a competition between the two presenters. As soon as all candidates have competed against their challenger, the audience votes again and decides which of the victorious "unbeatable" ones they liked best. The candidate with the most votes competes against his second challenger in the final. If he wins this duel too, he will receive a prize of 50,000 euros.

Broadcasts

The first edition aired on March 15, 2013, a Friday at 8:15 p.m. Due to the good viewership, RTL had four new editions produced. The first of the newly produced issues switched to the broadcast slot on Saturday evening and was also broadcast at 8:15 p.m. Since the second edition achieved significantly lower ratings than the first edition, it was not clear for a long time whether and on which slot the further episodes would be shown. Therefore, the third edition was set back to Friday evening, although the ratings remained well below the RTL channel average. For this reason, those responsible at RTL decided after two more too weak episodes to set Unschlagbar . Moderator Marco Schreyl confirmed the decision toquotemeter.de.
