Underground

Underground stands for:

  • a space for political action or retreat, which is mostly characterized by illegality and secrecy, see underground movement
  • a soil horizon made up of little to unchanged parent rock, see C horizon
  • Soil on which a structure is being built or already exists, see building site
  • In-situ soil or rock that is not changed by engineering measures, see subsoil (earthworks)
  • natural interfering signals when performing physical experiments, see noise (physics)
  • an album by the German rappers Frauenarzt and Blokkmonsta (here: as Blokk & Arzt), see underground (album)
