United Nations Multilingual Terminology Database

The United Nations Multilingual Terminology Database (in German Multilingual Database of Official Terminology of the United Nations (UN)) is a publicly accessible terminology database that contains the official terminology of the United Nations in the six official languages ​​of the UN ( Arabic , Chinese , English , French , Russian and Spanish ). The database contains more than 70,000 terms and is updated daily. It was set up to make the work of the UN easier to understand for those who do not have access to the intranet of the UN Secretariat.

The database is administered by the Terminology and Reference Section of the Documentation Division, which is subordinate to the Department for General Assembly and Conference Management of the United Nations, headquartered in New York City .
