Upłaz ( Polish ) is a ledge-like mountain ridge on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises west of Arctowski Station on the banks of Admiralty Bay .
Polish scientists named it in 1980. It is named after corresponding formations in the Polish Tatra Mountains .
