Uraniastar is the name of an astronomy program that was developed around 1990 by Michael Pietschnig and Wolfgang Vollmann for the Astronomical Office in Vienna.

It allows numerous calculations of celestial sights and stars, sun and planets for any date and time, as well as constellations , eclipses and other predictable phenomena. In addition to the necessary ephemeris calculation , it has other functions for astronomical phenomenology . Although the graphics no longer fully meet today's requirements, it can still be used for popular star tours and demos because of its diversity .
