The Urbanització s'Estanyol settlement, which consists mainly of holiday homes, is located on the western edge of the coastal town of Colonia de Sant Pere in the Bay of Alcúdia . Around 80 people permanently live in the settlement. After many years of ignoring the place, the infrastructure is now good. The few streets are well developed and the lighting is appropriate for the location. In the settlement there is one and two-family houses as well as a hotel in close proximity to the sea. The Urbanitzacio borders on a large, natural beach (Sa Canova). The place is often visited by locals, especially in summer, to hang out on the beaches. The next larger city of Artà can be reached by car in 15 minutes. There is no public transport.
