Urup (unit)

The Urup , also called Rubu , was a Turkish measure of length .

  • 1 Urup = 8.156 centimeters
  • 2 Kerrah = 1 Urup
    • 1 Kerrah / Kirak = 4.28 centimeters or 4.08 centimeters
  • 1 Endesch / Endaze ( cubits ) = 8 Urup = 16 Kerrah = 65.25 centimeters
  • 1 Carsi arsumu (çarşı arşını) = 8 Urup = 16 Kerrah = 68.58 centimeters ( Wallachia)
