The Usher Hall is a concert hall in Edinburgh .

The hall was opened in 1914; Architects were Stockdale Harrison and Howard H. Thomson . The construction of the hall was made possible by a donation from the patron and whiskey producer Andrew Usher (1826–1898). The hall has 2200 seats on three levels. A pipe organ is installed above the stage. Classical concerts as well as jazz, pop and rock concerts take place. In 1972 the Eurovision Song Contest took place in Usher Hall .
