Christoph Stolz (born January 17, 1980 in Wolfsburg ) is a former German long jumper .

Life

Stolz was first active in judo until he came to athletics in 1989. In the B youth he specialized in long and triple jump . In 2002 he became German junior runner-up in the triple jump. In 2004 he won the German University Championship in the long jump.

After an injury break in 2005, Stolz became German runner-up in the long jump behind Sebastian Bayer in Ulm the following year . In 2007 he jumped eight meters for the first time and represented Germany in the international competition DecaNation , where he reached fourth place. At the German Indoor Championships in Sindelfingen in 2008 , he was German champion with 7.91 meters. A year later he jumped to second place and qualified for the 2009 European Indoor Championships in Turin , where he was eliminated in the qualification. In 2010, Stolz was again German runner-up in the hall. In 2012 he ended his sporting career.

Proud started for VfL Wolfsburg and TV Langen. He studied economics and works at Volkswagen.
