The fruit is medium-sized, short-axed and completely rusted gold bronze. Uta has a firm pulp, is medium-juicy, melting with a strong aroma and a balanced sugar / acid ratio. Uta is really ready to be enjoyed when the bowl becomes slightly wrinkled around the handle. The enjoyment period is from mid-October to February.

Uta is most widespread worldwide in Austria. It was specifically planted here as part of a joint organic pear project by the St. Pölten Chamber of Agriculture , Steirerfucht and Deimel Tree Nursery, Ottendorf an der Rittschein . The marketing partner for this organic project is Steirerfrucht.
Due to its appearance, Uta is very memorable, due to its fruit shape and its ingredients, this pear is very versatile.
