Augustin und Frank is an architectural office of the Berlin architects Georg Augustin (* 1951 ) and Ute Frank (* 1952 ).

history

Ute Frank and Georg Augustin both studied architecture at the Technical University of Karlsruhe before successfully completing their studies at the TU Berlin in 1979 . After completing their studies, both worked in various architectural offices, Georg Augustin among others at BJSS. In 1986 Augustin and Frank were able to set up their own office with study contracts and competition successes. In addition to their work, both were entrusted with scientific and teaching tasks.

The office became known through numerous competition successes, which were regularly published in specialist journals. In addition to participating in competitions, the focus of the office's work since the beginning of the 1990s has been on conversions, additions and the construction of private houses.

Georg Augustin was a research assistant at the TU Berlin from 1986 to 1990 . In 1997 and 1998 he was visiting professor there. Since 2003 he has been a full professor for architectural design at the University of Kassel . Ute Frank was a professor for building construction and design at the TU Berlin.
