Uus Talu

Uus Talu (in German "Der neue Hof") was a monthly agricultural magazine in Estonia during the interwar period . It appeared from 1925 until the Soviet occupation of the country in 1940.

The magazine, published in Tallinn , mainly contained popular science articles, e.g. B. about botany, horticulture, forestry and agricultural engineering. She was close to the small farmer " Settlers Association " ( Asunike Koondis ).

The founder and first editor-in-chief was the multiple Estonian Minister of Agriculture Theodor Pool (1890–1942). The editor-in-chief of the magazine was from 1928 to 1937 the Estonian agronomist and politician Karl Liidemann (from 1936 established in Kaarel Liidak ; 1889–1945).
