Uwe Bühler

Uwe Bühler (born February 3, 1960 in Bretten ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Bühler began his career at VfB Bretten . In 1981 he moved to the Bundesliga club Karlsruher SC , but did not play a game for KSC in his first season. He made his Bundesliga debut on January 22, 1983 against Eintracht Frankfurt , when the striker came on for Martin Wiesner , and he scored his first goal on September 10, 1983 in the second Bundesliga against Rot-Weiss Essen . In 1985 he moved from the relegated KSC to Eintracht Frankfurt. By then, Bühler had scored 11 goals in 53 games for Karlsruhe. At Eintracht Frankfurt he played 15 games (1 goal). His last appearance for Eintracht was on March 15, 1986. A year later he had to end his career at the age of 27 due to an injury.

In total, he played 40 Bundesliga games (four goals) and 28 second division games (eight goals).
