Uwe Glinka and Kurt Meier are German authors of several savings guides.

history

Glinka and Meier met in March 2008 during a job placement program in Lüneburg . The financial difficulties that arise especially at the end of the month for Hartz IV recipients brought them to a business idea to create a savings cookbook in May 2008. With the support of rural women's associations, they collected savings recipes. In June to August 2008 the first brochure was published with recipes at the daily rate of 4.33 € for an adult. In November 2008 they were invited to stern TV by Günther Jauch .

From December 2008, further brochures and cookbooks were created with recipes for cheap and balanced nutrition, product comparisons for household products and comparisons of branded and no-name products. Their website went online in March 2013.
