The Norwegian steam locomotive series V.B. 6 in 1913 as a single piece from the Saxon machine factory of Richard Hartmann in Chemnitz lock Chemnitz , Germany , with the serial number 3715 for Valdresbane built.

history

The superheated steam locomotive ordered on January 13, 1913 was given the serial number 6 after delivery in the same year and commissioning in April 1914.

Used by Norges Statsbaner

With the expiry of the concession for the private Valdresbane on July 1, 1937, the entire Valdresbane and the locomotive were taken over by Norges Statsbaner . There it was given the new series designation NSB 51b and the new company number 22 . It was used in the Oslo district , where it remained until it was retired on November 10, 1954. After the decommissioning, the locomotive was scrapped .
