V1059 Sagittarii

V1059 Sagittarii was a nova that lit up in the constellation Sagittarius in 1898 and reached a brightness of 4.5 mag .

The name part "V1059" follows the rules for naming variable stars and says that V1059 Sagittarii is the 1059th variable star that was discovered in the constellation Sagittarius ( Sagittarius in Latin ).
